here are hints to give you an idea of what to name you charictor and how to make there personalitites! please note that they don't hav to be this is just go give you an idea!
Grawners (rats)
most of the rats in the book were dipcted as being tough and being use to attacking. they hated humans through out the seiries until the last book which they sugested a peace with the humans when Luxas (a underland human) bonded to Ripred (a rat)
As for there names, well their names are suplosidly based off the way they fight, again emphisizing their love of attacking things! and example is Ripred need i explain? then there wa the Bane, bane by definition is something that causes ruin and distruction... and is in the name of severel toxic plants!
as for there size, imagine a car, maybe an suv... that is about as long as a rat not incuding tail and as high as it if its on all fours.
Fliers(bats)
Bats were the humans long time friends, have been since the time of sandwich and have been ever since. Their attitudes were much like humans, very verring, but all were loyal to humans. Full loyalty between a flyier and a human is known as bonding.
There names actuly derive from Mythological figures, like Ares, both Gregors bond, and the greek god of war (the romen is Marse all plants are named affter a mythological being)
Bats were about the size of a rat on two legs if it had a streight back.... which they dont... BUT IF THEY DID! that would be the same size as the bat.
Nibblers(mice)
They real realy like math! don't ask me why they just do. They seem very intelegent and speak fluintly though no they don't sound like math guineses though they could solve 12596X5864 like that! *snaps fingers* they also don't like the rats since they tried to kill all of them by throughing them into the volcano so they would be killed by the fumes... that kinda sticks ya know...
There names are driven from math an example is kelvin that is the degree in math used to mesure the tempurature of rrealreal realy supper hot stuff like the suns! They are also name them selves after figures in the math world so yes a nibbler can be anamed aracmedies (his name is probly spelt wrong... i apologies...)
There about the size of a dog like maybe a cocker spanial or a boxer! and twice as cute! *hugs Kelvin the mouse*
Hissers(lizards)
I can't say much since they don't realy show them much only realy one. they seem to dislike humans, they don't like the policy of fighting and seem to do everything to provent bloodshed, first hidding then scaring then running and is no other option, fighting.
As for ther names i can't say anything since the only one is named frill... this could mean then names could be almot anyting!
what they look like is almost like a dragon! yep thas right a dragon. They are humungous lizzards that are rouhly dragon sized and hasve a dragons face and teeth. NO hey can't breath fire or fly since they don't have wings. They appear to be very large Frilled lizzards for thos of you who don't know what they look like pleas look at the links bellow. also they are very fast and they run on two legs like human.

Crawler(cockroach)
They may be very intelegent but they don't seem to show that. they are lousy fighters and though they have thecapibility they are horible at flying. they much more prefer peacful solutions. thinking of way to avoid the comflict before a problem erupts.
Their grammer is horibble! They tend to take the last phrase of the sentence and say it first then say it again at the end and seem to only be able to say small simple sentences. heres an example i made up "Very, flower, pritty!," by whih they would mean "the flower is very pritty."
Thei names are actuly bassed on the word time, an exampleis tick like a clock and temp which has oreginse in the french word for time. (Go Temp!)
About the same size as the Nibblers yet there endourance is amazing! they can even carry a full grown Flier as they did in the very first book. They also have the capiblity of staning on there back four legs feeing the two front legs so they can act like hands and holds torches and so froth.
Spinners (spiders)
They seem to play as nutal through out the whole thing (like switzerland! XD ... no efence ment nutrals good...) though they are talented at fighting and will Fight and drink if necesary. (they suck your blood like a vampire!) They also have a very silky vibratrating like voice.
Their names appear to be related to weaving and how spiders move.
They look like spiders. they are also large enough to eat a human when fully grown.
These will be updated there will be no infremation added by me myself on the ones we added, these include, howlers and roarers.
